TULSA, Okla., (October 29, 2021)
– The TulsaGo organization has expanded its efforts of offering a local marketplace event to merchants beyond Tulsa County with a full Oklahoma marketplace event open to any maker located in the state of Oklahoma. Due to the wealth of inquiries from interested makers from outside the Tulsa area following the March 2021 event, the TulsaGo team quickly put together a plan to open the marketplace event to locally owned and operated business whose products are made anywhere in the state.
Encompassing a diverse group of merchants from various trades and backgrounds, OKGO Market seeks to present a well-balanced event that offers local food, clothing, accessories, jewelry, gifts, novelties, and art. To provide an equal opportunity to all Made in Oklahoma brands, the marketplace development team has created an integrated model that incorporates both brick-and-mortar and home-based businesses into the event. Not only does this contribute to the overall trade mix, but it also gives home-based businesses a distinctive opportunity to generate equity for their brand.
The OKGO Market strategy is built around providing a superior customer experience through a welcoming environment. Each potential merchant goes through a multi-step selection process and final selection of the local businesses leverages an objective marketplace strategy founded on a true maker’s market model.
The spring 2022 OKGO Market event will take place on Saturday, March 19 from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. in Central Park Hall at Expo Square. Admission is free and open to the public. Special edition reusable OKGO Market shopping totes can be purchased upon entry or customers can bring their own. OKGO Market is proud to have Promise Hotels as its 2022 hotel partner.
